The biomass cogeneration plant is located in the vicinity of the Erfurt Lake District and supplies heat for one of Germany’s largest greenhouse systems. Completely CO2 neutral, this is being achieved with the use of wood chips from the region of Thuringia.
With a little imagination, the architecture resembles to a steam boat. It was important to us that the sophisticated design smoothly integrates into the beautiful landscape of Thuringia.
