Supervisory Board of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen

The Supervisory Board of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen consists of six members.


Johannes Eismann (Chairman of the Board)

Mr. Johannes Eismann (born in 1967) is member of the Supervisory Board of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen since November 2007 and has been appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board in October 2010. As member of the Management Board of quirin bank AG, he has been responsible since 2000 for the sectors Investment Banking, Settlement and Accounting. During his career, he assisted several IPOs and equity-linked transactions. Before joining quirin bank, Mr. Eismann was in charge for Corporate Finance, Trading and Sales at a German private bank. Between the years 1995 and 1998, Mr. Eismann was responsible for the establishment and management of the Structured Products Engineering department at an investment bank. From 1992 until 1995, he was head of the Derivatives Trading department at an investment bank in Frankfurt a.M. and built up the Institutional Sales division. Besides his position as member of the Supervisory Board of AGO AG, Mr. Johannes Eismann is member of the Management Board of quirin business support AG in Leipzig as well as a member of the Supervisory Board of Skonto AG and of Extra-Sportwetten AG, Wien.


Christian T. Staby

(born in 1963) was named to the Supervisory Board (Aufsichtsrat) of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen in June 2011 and was appointed to the Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board. He studied business administration at the Ludwigs-Maximilians- University, Munich, where he graduated with a Master’s degree in 1988. After a one year trainee program at Massalin Particulares, S.A., Buenos Aires, the leading cigarette manufacturer in Argentina, he worked as investment adviser at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., in New York and Paris and as investment management for a German institutional fund management group. After graduating as MBA from IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland, Mr. Staby was project manager at Bain & Co. in the Munich office; VP within the corporate strategy division of Deutsche Bank AG and investment manager at a venture capital fund launched by the Deutsche Bank group. Since 2005, he is managing partner at Perseus Beteiligungsberatung GmbH, Munich, with an investment focus on energy and environmental technologies. He is currently on the Advisory Board of Deutsche KWK Holding GmbH (Willich) and on the Board of Directors of Baumot AG (Fehraltorf, CH).


Alexander Hunzinger

(born in 1975) was named to the Supervisory Board (Aufsichtsrat) of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen in June 2011. Mr. Hunzinger has studied at the University of Cologne, Germany and the Fundacao Getulio Vargas, São Paulo, Brazil and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Cologne. Since 2007, Mr. Hunzinger is an Investment Manager of Perseus Beteiligungsberatung GmbH where he is working on investments in the renewable energy and environmental technology sectors in German spoken countries. Prior to joining Perseus, Mr. Hunzinger worked for more than five years in the corporate finance department of a German investment bank. Besides his position as member of the Supervisory Board of AGO AG, Mr. Hunzinger is a member of the Board of Directors of Deutsche KWK Holding GmbH.


Tobias Kiesewetter

(born in 1969) was named to the Supervisory Board (Aufsichtsrat) of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen in June 2011. He studied physics at the Universities of Konstanz and Tübingen and graduated with a diploma in physics. After his employment at Deutsche Bank AG at the corporate strategy division he assumed the responsibility of a CFO at a venture capital fund launched by the Deutsche Bank group. After his tenure as managing director at Perseus Beteiligunsgberatung GmbH, Munich, with an investment focus on energy and environmental technologies he was active as managing director for several subsidiaries of Roth & Rau AG, a leading engineering firm in the photovoltaic industry. Mr. Kiesewetter is presently Vorstand at Flemming Dental, Hamburg.


Michael Miller

(born in 1960) was named to the Supervisory Board (Aufsichtsrat) of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen in June 2011. He completed his undergraduate studies in chemical engineering at Rice University in Houston, Texas (USA) where he was also awarded an MBA in 1985. Mr. Miller is a Managing Director of the U.S. private equity firm Perseus, L.L.C. based in Washington, DC, where he is responsible for investments in the renewable energy and environmental technology sectors. Earlier in his career, Mr. Miller was active in the German and European banking market as a Vice President at Salomon Brothers AG in Frankfurt a.M. and First Vice President at UBS AG in Zurich (CH). In 1996 he founded UBS Capital GmbH, the private equity unit of the UBS Group in Germany, and led it as Managing Director for three years. He is currently on the Advisory Board of Deutsche KWK Holding GmbH (Willich), on the Board of Directors of Baumot AG (Fehraltorf, CH) and on the Board of Directors of Puralube, Inc. as well as Seismic Equipment Solutions, L.P.


Harald Petersen

Mr. Harald Petersen (born in 1966) is member of the Supervisory Board of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen since May 2007. He studied law at the University Bayreuth and passed his second state law examination in Bavaria in 1995. Mr. Harald Petersen is lawyer and Managing Director of H2M Capital Management GmbH and is as well on the Management Board of ISPEX AG. Beyond that he is a member of the Exchange Council of the Munich Stock Exchange. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of various stock corporations.
