Kulmbach, 7 August 2007: AGO AG Energie + Anlagen (WKN: A0LR41; ISIN: DE000A0LR415) today announces the erection of a biomass cogeneration plant in Gierstädt with a performance of 650 kW. The project with a total investment amounting to EUR 1.4 million will be planned, financed, constructed and operated by AGO AG Energie + Anlagen. The bio heat generated in the plant will be supplied to the local heat network of Gierstädt for the supply of a business park. The contract period for heat supply is 15 years. The plant is supposed to start operation at the beginning of 2008. Apart from the proceeds of heat sale, AGO AG Energie + Anlagen will generate gains from the supply of electricity generated by the power station into the public grid. An annual total revenue of approximately EUR 0.44 million is expected.
