AGO AG Energie + Anlagen plans to go public this summer

Kulmbach, Germany, May 18, 2007 – The IPO plans of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen are taking shape. The IPO in the Entry Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange is still set to take place in summer 2007. In financial year 2006, the Company generated sales of EUR 41.0 million and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of EUR 1.2 million.

Market position and profitability improve
In financial year 2006, AGO AG Energie + Anlagen focused steadfastly on the capital market. It also achieved all operating targets. Its market position was improved and its profitability boosted. “We will also strive for sales and earnings growth in the future, and we are prepared to go public”, emphasised Hans Ulrich Gruber, Chief Financial Officer of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen.

By going public, the Company intends to continuously strengthen its market position and continue its growth strategy. The proceeds of the issue are mainly due to be used for consolidating its position as an operator of energy generation plants. The transaction will be supported by quirin bank AG as the lead manager and Close Brothers Seydler AG as the selling agent.

With a strengthened capital structure, AGO AG Energie + Anlagen intends to considerably expand its business activities in project development and the operation of energy generation plants for industrial customers. One of its declared aims is the increase in energy efficiency on the customer side.
