Siltronic, Freiberg

Siltronic is one the global market leaders for wafers made of pure silicon and is partner of many leading chip producers. They develop and produce wafers with dimensions of up to 300 mm in Europe, Asia and the USA.

Planning and execution of the refrigeration and cooling water system in the factory in Freiberg, FAB 300-2. Five chillers, four open cooling towers and a cooling water basin with a volume of 120 m³ as well as the entire utility network were installed.

• Extension of the system network between the 6/12 and 12/18 systems for 2 × 1,000 kW
