AGO GmbH Energie + Anlagen has its headquarters since 1980 in Kulmbach. Our company specializes in innovative and efficient power supply systems for industry and local communities.

We have around 180 employees and offer young people interesting trainee possibilties in various technical professions.

AGO GmbH Energie + Anlagen has been part of RheinEnergie in Cologne since 01.07.2020.

Apart from the design of facilities, we offer our clients consultancy and the corresponding service.

Hence the name “AGO” has long become a synonym for efficiency, security and technological competence when it comes to power supply systems such as combined heat and power plants, biomass heating plants, combined cooling, heat and power plants as well as the construction of heating, cooling and ventilation systems.

Top priority at AGO has always been our clients‘ satisfaction. For us to achieve this we combine trendsetting technologies with proven quality, expertise and individuality.

AGO Berlin GmbH, formerly GeteMo Gebäudetechnik GmbH, is a successful, medium-sized company for air conditioning and ventilation technology in Berlin/Brandenburg.

Since 2006, the company has been working continuously on individual and customised solutions for its clients. With innovative and state-of-the-art building technology that fits seamlessly into the customers’ environment. It is close to the company’s heart that our customers’ systems work safely and efficiently right from the start. AGO Berlin GmbH competently accompanies you from planning and realisation to long-term smooth operation. The existing quality management and a comprehensive service in the maintenance of the technical building systems ensure that you can always keep a “cool head” even in the “hot times”.

Günther Hein

(born in 1965) was member of the board of directors of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen from September 2011 – June 2020 and since 2013 also spokesman of the Board of Directors. Since July 2020 he is managing director of AGO GmbH Energie + Anlagen. Within the company, he is responsible for technology and sales, among others. Since September 2012, Mr. Hein has also been a member of the Regional Board of Directors of the Bavarian Metal and Electrical Industry.

From 2009 – 2011 he was managing director at KKT Kraus Klima u. Kältetechnik GmbH in Lauf an der Pegnitz and responsible for the restructuring of the company. Until 2009 Mr. Hein worked for nine years as sales manager and part of the management board at Hyfra Industriekühlanlagen GmbH in Neuwied.

As a native Namibian, he was managing partner of Atlatek Kältetechnik in Swakopmund, Namibia from 1991 to 2001.

Georg-Stephan Wilkening

(born 1975) was member of the board of directors of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen from the end of May 2013 to 2020 and has been Managing Director of AGO GmbH Energie + Anlagen since July 2020.

Mr Wilkening is responsible for the areas of finance, controlling and personnel. From 2001 to 2008, he worked as a management consultant for Pricewaterhouse Coopers and IBM Global Business Services and was responsible for project and program management as well as process and strategy optimization. Between 2009 and 2013, he took on various management positions in the context of general corporate reorganization and restructuring, including at solar machinery manufacturer Roth & Rau.

Holger Mennigmann

(born 1971) has been managing director of AGO GmbH Energie + Anlagen since July 2020 and is responsible for the cooperation between RheinEnergie AG and the subsidiary AGO GmbH.

After studying electrical engineering, Mr. Mennigmann successfully worked in various positions as a project manager and sales engineer for decentralized energy generation systems (CHP systems), before he first took over the management of a planning department at RheinEnergie AG and then head of the energy services division since 2014. In addition to studies on energy efficiency, holistic energy supply solutions for industry and neighborhoods are also implemented and operated.
